The information provided on MedPointer is intended for general educational support for MBBS students. While we work hard to keep calculations and content current, we make no guarantees of completeness, accuracy, or official validity.
MedPointer’s calculators estimate internal, practical, and combined “pointers” to help you understand your likely eligibility status. These values are informational only and must be verified against official college / university mark statements and exam cell notifications.
Our pointer logic is developed after studying competency-based medical education (CBME) structures followed in India under the National Medical Commission (NMC) framework (formerly MCI). We have referenced CBME implementation trends across academic patterns rolled out in 2019, 2021, 2023, and 2024, along with subject-level mark splits where publicly available.
MedPointer is not officially affiliated with NMC, any university, or examination authority. No result generated here should be submitted as official documentation.
All marks and scores are entered by you. Incorrect data entry will produce incorrect results. Always re-check numbers before making academic decisions.

Pointer logic encoded in MedPointer is based on public, broad CBME exam patterns (2019, 2021, 2023, 2024) interpreted by MBBS students & developers. Our implementation and presentation (formulas, subject configs, UI, text explanations) are original works and remain our intellectual property.
